I graphed a Sci-Fi event and I ended up doing pretty well. There were not a lot of big names to show up but I got some new people so I was excited for that. I got mostly 8x10s signed which is unusual for me but none of the people I had 11x14s for showed up.
First to sign was Tom Skerritt who I always associate with Top Gun. He signed four 8x10s for me.
Next Nick Tarabay and Lesley Ann Brandt showed up together, I got Nick on three individual 8x10s and I added him to my Spartacus Vengeance cast 11x14.
Lesley was signing at the same time as Nick and I managed to juggle between both their photos and got Lesley on my four 8x10s.
Next was the mother of dragons personal body guard from Game of Thrones: Steven Cole. He signed my cast 11x14 that was previously signed by George RR Martin and Lena Headey.
Al Jean signed both my 8x10s.
Next I got the living genius Vince Gilligan. He created and writes Breaking Bad, and anyone who does that is pretty cool in my book. I got him on five 8x10s today.
After that was Harry Morgan from Dexter aka James Remar. I got him on four 8x10s.
Then was Scarface's Steven Bauer. I got him to sign my 11x14 cast piece signed by Al Pacino and Michelle Pfiefer. Then I got him on four 8x10s.
Then I realized that I had a Breaking Bad cast 11x14 along so I added him to that.
Marina Sirtis from Star Trek Next Generation signed three 8x10s for me.
And I got to get Lance Reddick again which is always cool because I like The Wire. Today I got him on 8x10s. I had four along and got three of the four done.
Ryan Lee from Super 8 came and I got him on two 8x10s.
And right behind Ryan was Riley Griffiths and I added him to my cast 11x14.
Bruce Greenwood came and I got him on four 8x10 photos.
And I also got Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goddard to sign two 8x10s for me.
Robert Kirkman came out and was really good about signing. He does not sketch anymore, but he still signs any photo you put in front of him. I had nine poster shot 8x10s from Walking Dead along and he signed them all.
Scott Bakula also signed and I got him on my two 8x10 photos.
And lastly was the guy I was most excited to get . . . the voice of Yoda . . . Frank Oz. It got a little crazy for him but he calmed the situation down and said if everyone gets in a single file line and comes up to him one at a time he will sign for everyone. And he did just that. (If only more big name celebrities would do this it would stay so much more calm when they sign) I got him on my one 11x14 and he added "yoda" as an inscription.
And that is all folks.
