This is the End Premiere Emma Watson & Danny McBride Autographs & Photos

Oh my good grief.  The This is the End premiere was madness.   It was about eight deep the entire barricade.  Girls were screaming their lungs out for Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel.  For a second I thought One Direction, Justin Bieber, and Robert Pattinson all merged into one human being and this super-sexy-combination-man showed up to the premiere.  Talking to people beforehand a lot of the random girls were there to meet James Franco.  I knew James was not coming, but these hundreds of girls didn't.  Here's a pic of the crowd and how thick it was below.  Add a celebrity to the mix and everyone acts crazy:

I was at the premiere for two reasons: Danny McBride and Emma Watson.  I didn't bring photos for anyone else, and thank goodness for that because it was so crazy I was glad I only had to focus on two people. 

Danny McBride arrived first, so I followed him down the line getting in every ten feet or so and getting a couple autographs.   I got all my photos signed, and even got Danny on a baseball.  I just personally think Eastbound & Down is funny as shit, so getting Danny is always cool for me. 

Then Emma Watson came and all hell broke loose.  The pushing and shoving in the fan barricade was out of control.  It was BAD.  I'm talking BAD!  I couldn't even get in to get her.  Luckily my buddy who was in the front row got me one, but I don't think I even got within five feet of her at any point. Madness. 

Madness. 

The Internship Premiere

History told me to stay home for this premiere. Vince Vaughn is a bad signer.  Owen Wilson is iffy.  Rose Byrne is tough.   But it was a slow week so I figured why not try it.  Well it could not have gone any better. 

We were all waiting for the guests to arrive when a Google Street View car pulled up.  

I looked in the back, and it was Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. 

They both got out and came over to sign.  I decided to stand away from the "optimal zone" (I call the optimal zone the area directly across from where a celebrity drops).  Owen and Vince both started signing in the optimal zone. 

But then ten seconds later Vince walked around and came right over to me.  I held out my Wedding Crashers 12x18 and my sharpie and Vince grabbed the pen, signed my photo, and handed back my sharpie.  

Vince signed a few more autographs for people on my right. So I went in my bag and grabbed my Swingers 12x18.  He was still within earshot so I held it out and said, "Vince can you sign my Swingers?" He turned back, grabbed my sharpie, and signed it.  He then tried to hand back the sharpie but dropped it on the ground.   Then to my complete surprise Vince Vaughn bent over, picked up the sharpie he had dropped, handed it to me, and said, "I'm sorry about that brother here you go".   Wow.  You really never know what to expect with celebrities.  I have heard some horror stories about Vince, and I have a few of my own.  But today he was a sweetheart.  The guy has been in a ton of movies I grew up on and loved, so to have this good experience with him was great. 

So next my focus was on completing my Wedding Crashers combo.  I immediately moved and went to find Owen.  He was a bit further down to the left and I quickly got in front of him and held out my photo.  He saw it and went right for it.  Boom.  Wedding Crashers combo complete! 

I also had a few photos for Jessica Szohr, so I went to get those signed.  She's a pretty good signer, so it was pretty easy to get my three 11x14s done. 

I even got a couple Rose Byrne autographs but both of them weren't for myself. 

All in all it was a pretty good premiere. I went home and immediately watched my Wedding Crashers DVD. 

The Kings of Summer

I saw there was a small premiere for The Kings of Summer happening in Hollywood this week so I checked out the trailer and the movie looks pretty good.  So I decided I should go to the premiere and get some autographs, that way when I end up seeing the movie if I really like it I will already have some cast autographs.  Check out the preview and you'll see why I was excited for the film:

Well I am happy to report the cast was all really nice.  I worked on some poster shots and got all three of the leads on them.  And also got a few other nice autographs.

The first person to sign was Gabriel Basso, he was really nice just like he was back at the Super 8 premiere.  He signed a ton and I added him to a Super 8 cast shot I started at the Blu Ray release party, and got him on all my Kings of Summer cast shots.

 I just need Joel Courtney and this should be finished.

Next was Nick Robinson and just like Gabriel he was really cool and came right over to sign.  He even came back over to the fans after the movie to see if he had missed anybody.  All I had were my four cast shots and I he signed them all in a row.

Kelsey Chow showed up the premiere and I remembered I had three 8x10s in my car from a previous event.  I ran and got them and she signed them for me.

At this point it was all about Moises Arias.  I needed him to complete my cast trio shots.  I saw him come out and we called him over.  He didn't sign for very long but luckily he came right to me so I was able to get some of the first autographs he signed.  I managed to complete my four trio cast shots.

 Here's my finished 12x18, 11x14, and two 8x10s with the three leads on them.  I decided to keep it to just the three kids since they were the only ones pictured on the poster image.

After the movie I saw Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally were just hanging out talking in the lobby of the theatre so I waited another 20 minutes and they came out together.  I put Nick on my Parks and Recreation cast 11x14 (it now has Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Rashida Jones, and Nick on it).  I just recently got into Parks and Rec and Ron Swanson is the best character on the show by far.

And I got Megan on two new Will and Grace four person shots, so I we shall see how many years long of a project it is to complete these.
