Steven Speilberg

I've had the worst luck with Steven Speilberg the last two years.  I've seen him probably six times and he didn't sign once.  I was actually starting to believe that Speilberg signing autographs was like the Lockness Monster, it was just a fabled creature that doesn't truly exist.  

Well that was all put to rest this week.  One of the greatest directors of all time signed up a storm and I got him on five 11x14s.  Thank you Mr. Speilberg for reversing my bad luck.

The Walking Dead is back!

Yep tonight on AMC The Walking Dead returns, and I could not be happier.  What better way to replace NFL football withdrawal than some zombie killing?  Well the cast of TWD had a press event this week to promote the midseason premiere and I was there getting some autographs.  

I did pretty well.  Filled up a few new cast pieces.  Added some key names to some cast pieces I've been working on for a year plus.  Got a couple individuals done.  All in all a good night. 

Andrew Lincoln is a great signer.  I added him to a bunch of my cast stuff and one individual 12x18.

 This one below was my biggest priority for Andrew.  Before the event I said, "If all I get tonight is Andrew Lincoln on this I had a good night".  It had all the other people on it before the event, and I just wanted to add Andrew to it and be done with it.  Success.  It's complete.

Danai is a really good signer too.  I just saw her a few months ago so I didn't have much for her to sign tonight but I added her to my new cast pieces. 

 I added Gale Anne Hurd to my cast pieces. 

 Make-up genius Greg Nicotero got swarmed with photos.  I added him to some cast pieces.

 Robert Kirkman is the perfect Hollywood signer.  He has a quick signature and signs at every event he attends. 

 Steven Yeun is getting progressively harder as an autograph signer.  Season 1 and 2 he was really easy, now I'm actually surprised if I get him.  I didn't even get him at the season 3 premiere. 

 Laurie Holden was probably the best signer on the night.  She spent a ton of time with the fans.  She kept saying, "Guys have faith in Andrea" "Andrea is gonna redeem herself guys".  

 I don't know why but I never get a photo of Norman Reedus signing.  I think I just get lost in the presence of Daryl Dixon or something.  But I added him by my cast pieces and got him on some individual 11x14s.

Jessica Chastain: Nicest Woman Alive

In the last week I have experienced some extremely rude behavior by Jennifer Lawrence.  She has acted extremely pompous and really made me respect her a little less after seeing how she treats people. On the exact opposite end of the perspective is Jessica Chastain.  Jessica is probably the nicest female celeb I have met. The race for this year's Oscar for Best Actress appears to be a two way battle between Chastain and Lawrence, and I could not be pulling for Jessica more.  She should win if for no other reason than she is a billion times nicer than her competition. 

 Jessica was in town for one day this week and signed up a storm at multiple locations.  I went BIG and got two 16x20s signed and two 11x14s as well. 

Warm Bodies Premiere: Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, & Dave Franco

The Warm Bodies premiere was this week in Hollywood and while it's not a movie filled with big names I think it will be pretty good.  The previews look really funny. 

Nicholas Hoult acted like a true leading man in his first premiere as the main star.  He signed a lot and was really good to the fans.  I've been following Nicholas since he played Tony Stonem in the UK hit Skins so it's cool to see he's becoming a big name here in Hollywood.  He signed my two Warm Bodies 12x18s and my Skins 11x14. 

 Dave Franco also signed my cast piece 12x18. 

 And Teresa Palmer also signed my cast piece 12x18.  It got a little crazy when she signed.  The fans were acting like flesh eating zombies for her. 

Here's my finished cast piece with Nicholas, Dave, Teresa, and also Rob Corddry on it.  Rob signed, but it was so quick that getting a signing picture of him was not possible.
