Matt Kemp of the LA Dodgers!

On Thursday, the day before the huge blockbuster trade which saw the Dodgers get three 100 million dollar players from the Red Sox (two of which are still owed $100 million on their contracts: Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford), I was waiting at an event for some actors when I saw Matt Kemp walking towards me.  It was one of those freak coincidences that happen in LA (if you're in public, you're going to see celebrities).  I always carry a baseball on me so I quickly reached down in my bag and grabbed it and a pen.  I didn't want to run up on him so I just called to him "Matt can you sign a baseball?".  He looked over to me and shook his head yeah as he kept walking and said, "throw it to me dog".  I underhand tossed it to him and he signed it and tossed it back.  A pretty cool autograph and a pretty good story to go with it, now the Dodgers just need to use all this new payroll to win the World Series this year.

Lawless Premiere with Shia Labeouf, Guy Pearce, and more

The Lawless premiere didn't have a lot of names showing up, but there wasn't much else going on so I went to go get some autographs.  I ended up getting Shia Labeouf on the two 11x14s I had along.

I also got Colin Fergson from Eureka to sign the two 8x10s I had along.

Kelsey Chow also came to the premiere.  She plays the character "Hot Girl" in The Amazing Spider-Man, and the casting director sure got it right with that one.

Nick Cave was the frontman for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds back in the 80s and now he's writing movies.  He wrote the screenplay for Lawless.  I had him sign a pickguard for me.

I'm not sure his connection to the movie but Sean Puff-Daddy-Puffy-P.Diddy-Diddy Combs came and I got him on two 8x10s.  He was not carrying a bottle of Ciroc Ultra Premium with him though.

Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars showed up and I had an 11x14 of her Peta ad along and got it signed.

And lastly Guy Pearce signed and I got him on my two 11x14s.  I thought Momento was really unique when it came out and I remember I bought the VHS as soon as it was available.  So I got Guy to sign two 11x14s from Momento for me.

And that's it for this premiere.

Jean-Claude Van Damme

After being heart broken at the Expendables 2 premiere when Jean-Claude started just three people to my right and went the other direction, I had better luck when I went for him this week.  It didn't look good, and I honestly didn't think I was going to get him but luckily he went out of his way and rolled down his car window to sign for fans.  Many celebs will not do this.  I got two 11x14s signed and both came out really clean and bold signatures, so I walked away pretty happy.

Jessica Stroup, Sam Trammel, Antawn Jamison, and John Densmore

There was a small event going on the other night and I decided to go try to get a few autographs.  The biggest surprise of the event were how many celebrities didn't sign.  Joe Manganiello, Kellan Lutz, and Marilyn Manson were having no part of it and didn't even acknowledge our existence when we called them.  Malin Akerman promised to sign on the way out and then just went to her car without signing when she left.  It was a weird night.

I did get Jessica Stroup to sign.  She was by far and away the nicest of the night.  Jessica was the only person so sign and then take pictures with fans as well.

Sam Trammel showed up next and was pretty cool also.  He's usually relatively nice.  I had two 11x14s along and I got them both signed pretty easily and even got him to switch to silver for me on my dark photo.

Antawn Jamison is the newest Laker and I welcomed him to LA and had him sign a floorboard for me.  I'm pretty pumped to watch the new line up this year: Nash, Howard, Kobe, Gasol, Metta, and Jamison . . . should be entertaining.

Lastly Doors drummer John Desmore came and signed some autographs.  I didn't bring anything specific for him along, but I had a pickguard in my bag so I had him sign it.  He wrote the inscription "DOORS" on it too which was nice of him.

And that is all.
